Similarly, Spain stands out for its humane policies. Instead of militarizing borders, the Spanish government focuses on protecting asylum seekers. Local authorities collaborate with civil society organizations to ensure refugees have access to essential services.

Europe’s Future: Humanity or Xenophobia?

The principles of “human dignity,” “equality,” and “justice,” which lie at the foundation of the European Union, are being eroded by politicians like Alexander Dobrindt. Germany is stirring chaos on this issue, and unfortunately, the current government’s rhetoric and actions demonstrate a refusal to uphold this humanitarian responsibility.

The approach of countries like France and Spain serves as a reminder that Europe can still be a continent of hope. But to preserve this hope, the architects of hate-driven policies must not only be criticized—they must also be held accountable on an international level.
